Lord, thank you for the blessing of the Cormier family and that ways in which You're working in our lives through them and for them. Please continue to bless them and satisfy their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs as we move forward in this new year. O God of goodness and mercy, to Your fatherly guidance we commend our families, our household and all our belongings. We commit all to Your love and keeping; fill the Cormier households with Your blessings even as You filled the holy House of Nazareth with Your presence.
As the Holy Spirit is the love exchange between the Father and the Son so may this same Spirit of Love increase the charity within my family.
Right around mid-October of 2009 it hit me that I wanted to be more intentional with praying for my family on an individual basis. As the thought matured I thought it would be nice to make this action a little more communal by inviting my family to be joining with me in the weekly intention. Hopefully through this we would all in a way be coming together in prayer no matter where we are on the globe. After all a family that prays together, stays together.
I thought this would be a nice Christmas present to my whole family, so below you'll find the weekly schedule and in the body of this site I'll post a different prayer each weekend for the family member that we'll be praying for during the week.
