Lord, we lift up to you the Armagost family this week.  We thank you for their presence and the gift of their daughter Amber into our family.  O God of goodness and mercy, to Your fatherly guidance we commend our families, our household and all our belongings.We commit all to Your love and keeping; fill their house with Your blessings even as You filled the holy House of Nazareth with Your presence.  Amen.

Heavenly Creator of the universe, we thank You for Donna to whom you've entrusted to our family.  We want to cooperate with You fully in helping her grow into a free and responsible young lady and mature in the faith she received at Baptism.  Grant us the grace to be able to guide her in the practice of virtue and the way of Your commandments by the good example of our lives, and by the loving observance of Your law and that of Your Church. All-powerful and ever-living God, when Abraham left his native land and departed from his people you kept him safe through all his journeys.  Protect John as he prepares to serve overseas.  Be his constant companion and his strength in battle, his refuge in every adversity.  Guide him, O Lord, that he may return home in safety.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Lord we ask for a special blessing upon Peter and Christine's family.  You gave us our families as a tangible experience of the love that you share within the Holy Trinity.  In the primacy of our love for Jesus we receive the ability to love others in a sanctified way and, in turn, to generate the love of Christ, especially through the community of family.  We turn to you to teach us the sanctity of human love, to show us the value of family life, and to help us to live in peace with all men that we may share in your life for ever.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Lord, we thank you for Peter and the many gifts and blessings he brings to our lives.  You know that being a father is no meager task, but one that requires a multitude of gifts and blessings from your loving bounty.  Please bless Peter as he strives to be a strong and loving father; help him to be gentle and selfless in the care of his family and children through struggles and joy.  May we seek the intersession of your earthly father, Joseph, for Peter to be blessed with wisdom, patience, and understanding.  In your name we pray. Dear Lord, we give you thanks for the addition of Nichole to our family. Bless her life and guide her to be your hands in the world; especially as she takes on her daily task of teaching. Help her to remember the greatness of the work which she has been given to do. Give her patience with those who are slow to learn, and even with those who refuse to learn. We're reminded that through our baptism that you called us into a similar role as prophet to witness to your love for this world. Help us all to remember that the future of the Church, the nation and of the world is in our hands. We ask this for your love’s sake. Amen

Loving lord, as we gather around our family table, we ask your special blessing on our mother Noreen. Her presence brings light and warmth to our lives and we thank you for giving her to us. We know her care for us has been constant. She has enlightened us at some of the most difficult times in our family life.
