Peter and Christine Family

Lord we ask for a special blessing upon Peter and Christine's family.  You gave us our families as a tangible experience of the love that you share within the Holy Trinity.  In the primacy of our love for Jesus we receive the ability to love others in a sanctified way and, in turn, to generate the love of Christ, especially through the community of family.  We turn to you to teach us the sanctity of human love, to show us the value of family life, and to help us to live in peace with all men that we may share in your life for ever.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Christine

Lord, we thank you for the presence of Christine in our lives and we lift her up with these intentions to you. May you fill her with an abundance of your grace as she does her best to raise her children in a loving household. We thank you for our own mothers that you have given us, whose love is so precious that it can never be measured, whose patience seems to have no end. May we see your loving hand behind them and guiding them. We pray for those mothers who fear they will run out of love or time, or patience. We ask you to bless them with your own special love. We ask this in Christ's name.

Lord, we lift up William to you as we thank you for the blessing he is to our family.  Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as he is brought up in the faith, that we may teach him to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ.  As the Jewish Sabbath blessing goes, 'May God make you like Ephraim and Menashe'." (Genesis 48:20).  Amen.

Laura

Lord, we thank you for the precious gift of Laura in our lives. We know that every good gift comes from You, and that You have given her to us to care for and raise. Help us to release her into Your protection, guidance, and counsel. To us not to live in fear of possible dangers, but in the joy and peace of knowing that You are in control. We rely on You for everything, and this day we trust and release Laura into Your hands. Amen.

Dear God, we lift up Barry to you. Show him your presence and let him feel you enveloping love.  Help our unbelief. When we're in pain, we forget that you care about us.  We forget that you have helped us through our trials.  We forget that you hold us in your arms to keep us safe.  We forget that you are feeling our pain with us.  We forget that you love us, and that we're important to you.  Heal our hurting souls.  Thank you for staying with us even in our unbelief.  Amen.

Dear Lord,

We come to You in Jesus' name and give Jenna to You. We're convinced that You alone know what is best for her. You alone know what she needs. We release her to You to care for and protect her, and we commit ourselves to pray for her needs.  Teach us how to pray and guide us down the path toward Christian holiness.  May we model Your love for her as she grows.  Amen

All-powerful and ever-living God, when Abraham left his native land and departed from his people you kept him safe through all his journeys.  Protect John as he continues to serve overseas.  Be his constant companion and his strength in every moment of every day, his refuge in every adversity.  Guide him, O Lord, that he may balance the demands of work and family life, and draw him ever closer to you each day.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Mac

Loving God, you watch over each and every one of your children. Hear our prayer for Mac. Be his constant companion. Protect him no matter where he goes, and bring him safely and quickly home to those who love him. May we, your sons and daughters, be a witness to him in living out the faith that you've passed down through our parents and mentors, while guiding him to live a life for the love and well being of others. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Grandpa Reynolds

O God, who in your unspeakable providence chose blessed Joseph to be the spouse of your most holy Mother, grant, we beseech you that he may interceed for the prayerful intentions we offer for Grandpa Reynolds.  As he has worked tirelessly for our benefit though sacrifice and love to raise us in a loving household where our needs were met through the model of Saint Joseph,  may you bless him abundently with your grace.  Amen.

Lord, we offer to you our prayers for Pam.  We thank you for the gift of her presence in our lives.  As a mother and grandmother, please give her the grace to care for those you've sent into her life, to help them develop the special gifts you've given them.  To model for them how to follow their own paths that you've called them to and to bring their loving wisdom to the world. Pilot divine, and Lord of all on high, we lift up Jimmy to you.  We thank you for the blessing that he has been in our lives and continues to be.  We pray for your strength, your wisdom and your reconciliation in our lives. All loving God, you created the human family as a reflection of your own divine life so that your creation might share in your happiness. Hear our prayer for your daughter, Nichole, who awaits the birth of her child. She has cooperated with you in giving life. Assist her now as she prepares to give birth to the child in her womb. May Mary be her guide and support, calming her fears and strengthening her love. May your daughter be filled with your peace and blessing so that she may bring her child into this world safely and in good health to the praise and glory of your name. Amen.

Loving lord, as we gather around our family table, we ask your special blessing on our mother Noreen. Her presence brings light and warmth to our lives and we thank you for giving her to us. We know her care for us has been constant. She has enlightened us at some of the most difficult times in our family life. Lord, now bless her with the same consolation that your Mother received during her life.  Amen.
