All praise to You, Lord Jesus, Lover of children: Bless the Reynolds family, and help them to lead their children to You. We ask that you look over them in the next few months as they transition to moving to Denver that all may go well and that you will put good people in their life while they're away from family. Give them light and strength, and courage when the task is difficult. Let Your Spirit fill them with love and peace, so that they may help their children to love You. All glory and praise are Yours, Lord Jesus, for ever and ever. Amen.
A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS
The Idea
As the Holy Spirit is the love exchange between the Father and the Son so may this same Spirit of Love increase the charity within my family.
Right around mid-October of 2009 it hit me that I wanted to be more intentional with praying for my family on an individual basis. As the thought matured I thought it would be nice to make this action a little more communal by inviting my family to be joining with me in the weekly intention. Hopefully through this we would all in a way be coming together in prayer no matter where we are on the globe. After all a family that prays together, stays together.
I thought this would be a nice Christmas present to my whole family, so below you'll find the weekly schedule and in the body of this site I'll post a different prayer each weekend for the family member that we'll be praying for during the week.
