The Peter and Christine Reynolds Family

Lord we ask for a special blessing upon Peter and Christine's family.  You gave us our families as a tangible experience of the love that you share within the Holy Trinity.  In the primacy of our love for Jesus we receive the ability to love others in a sanctified way and, in turn, to generate the love of Christ, especially through the community of family.  We turn to you to teach us the sanctity of human love, to show us the value of family life, and to help us to live in peace with all men that we may share in your life for ever.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Dear Lord,
We come to You in Jesus' name and give Jenna to You. We're convinced that You alone know what is best for her. You alone know what she needs. We release her to You to care for and protect her, and we commit ourselves to pray for her needs.  Teach us how to pray and guide us down the path toward Christian holiness.  May we model Your love for her as she grows.  Amen.

Laura

Lord, we thank you for the precious gift of Laura in our lives. We know that every good gift comes from You, and that You have given her to us to care for and raise. Help us to release her into Your protection, guidance, and counsel. To us not to live in fear of possible dangers, but in the joy and peace of knowing that You are in control. We rely on You for everything, and this day we trust and release Laura into Your hands. Amen.

Lord, we thank you for the precious gift of Lucy in our lives. We know that every good gift comes from You, and that You have given her to us to care for and raise. Help us to release her into Your protection, guidance, and counsel. For us not to live in fear of possible dangers, but in the joy and peace of knowing that You are in control. O God, you have created us in love and saved us in mercy, and through the bond of marriage you have established the Reynolds family and willed that it should become a sign of Christ's love for his people. Shower your blessing on this family gathered here in your name. Enable those who are joined by one love to support one another by their favor of spirit and devotion to prayer. Make them responsive to the needs of others and witnesses to the faith in all they say and do. In Your name we pray.  Amen.

Lord, we thank you for the love you have poured out upon our family and we thank you for the gift of Paul. Bless him as he lives out his vocation of loving husband and father. Give him the graces he needs this day, and every day, in the workplace and at home. Continue to draw him ever closer to yourself and keep him safe. May his life be a witness to your peace, love, and mercy. Lord, teach us all to be generous; to serve you as you deserve; to give and not to count the cost; to fight and not to heed the wounds; to toil and not to ask for rest; to labor and not to ask for reward, save that of knowing that we do your will.
