Dan and Amber Reynolds Family

O God, you have created us in love and saved us in mercy, and through the bond of marriage you have established the Reynolds family and willed that it should become a sign of Christ's love for his people. Shower your blessing on this family gathered here in your name. Enable those who are joined by one love to support one another by their favor of spirit and devotion to prayer. Make them responsive to the needs of others and witnesses to the faith in all they say and do. Protect them and bring them peace as they make their move to a new home in a new state.  In Your name we pray.  Amen.

Lord Jesus,
You welcomed children into your loving arms like they were ambassadors to the kingdom.  Please bless Blake as we lift him up in prayer to you.  Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as he is brought up in the faith, that we may teach him to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Lord, we thank you for Peter and the many gifts and blessings he brings to our lives.  You know that being a father is no meager task, but one that requires a multitude of gifts and blessings from your loving bounty.  Please bless Peter as he strives to be a strong and loving father; help him to be gentle and selfless in the care of his family and children through struggles and joy.  May we seek the intersession of your earthly father, Joseph, for Peter to be blessed with wisdom, patience, and understanding.  In your name we pray. Amen.

Lord, we lift up to you the Chase family this week.  We thank you for their presence and the gift of their daughter Christine into our family.  O God of goodness and mercy, to Your fatherly guidance we commend our families, our household and all our belongings.We commit all to Your love and keeping; fill their house with Your blessings even as You filled the holy House of Nazareth with Your presence.  Amen.

Loving God,

We lift up Fuzzy in prayer this week.  We thank you for the gift of her presence in our lives.  May you fill her with an abundance of your grace as she does her best to raise her children in a loving household.  We thank you for our own mothers that you have given us, whose love is so precious that it can never be measured, whose patience seems to have no end.  May we see your loving hand behind them and guiding them.  We pray for those mothers who fear they will run out of love or time, or patience.  We ask you to bless them with your own special love.  We ask this in Christ's name.

Give them, O Lord, a steadfast heart, which no unworthy affection may drag downwards; give them an unconquered heart, which no tribulation can wear out; give them an upright heart, which no unworthy purpose may tempt aside.  Bestow upon them also, O Lord our God, understanding to know you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, and a faithfulness that may finally embrace you; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
