We lift up in prayer Hayden.  May the LORD bless you and keep you. The LORD make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. (Numbers, 6:24-26) Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground. (Deut. 28:4)  Out of the mouths of babes and infants you have drawn a defense against your foes, to silence enemy and avenger ( Psalms. 8:3 ) Amen.

Peter

Lord, we thank you for Peter and the many gifts and blessings he brings to our lives.  You know that being a father is no meager task, but one that requires a multitude of gifts and blessings from your loving bounty.  Please bless Peter as he strives to be a strong and loving father; help him to be gentle and selfless in the care of his family and children through struggles and joy.  May we seek the intersession of your earthly father, Joseph, for Peter to be blessed with wisdom, patience, and understanding.  In your name we pray. Amen.

Lord, we offer to you our prayers for Pam.  We thank you for the gift of her presence in our lives.  As a mother, please give her the grace to care for those you've sent into her life, to help them develop the special gifts you've given them.  To model for them how to follow their own paths that you've called them to and to bring their loving wisdom to the world. Amen

Almighty God, heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the joy and care of Mason: Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as he is brought up in the faith, that we may teach him to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Pilot divine, and Lord of all on high, we lift up Jimmy to you.  We thank you for the blessing that he has been in our lives and continues to be.  Continue to strengthen him as he strives to strike a balance to the demands of work, marriage, and children with an honest awareness of both joy and sacrifice.  Also, we pray for the end of war. We pray for your strength, your wisdom and your reconciliation. That the serving men and women of every nation might be at home, wrapped in their families, we seek your peace, here on earth, as in heaven. Creator, bless us all as we pray in your holy name. Amen.

Dear God, we lift up Barry to you. Show him your presence and let him feel you enveloping love.  Help our unbelief. When we're in pain, we forget that you care about us.  We forget that you have helped us through our trials.  We forget that you hold us in your arms to keep us safe.  We forget that you are feeling our pain with us.  We forget that you love us, and that we're important to you.  Heal our hurting souls.  Thank you for staying with us even in our unbelief.  Amen

Nichole

Dear Lord, we give you thanks for the addition of Nichole to our family. Bless her life and guide her to be your hands in the world; especially as she takes on her daily task of teaching. Help her to remember the greatness of the work which she has been given to do. Give her patience with those who are slow to learn, and even with those who refuse to learn. We're reminded that through our baptism that you called us into a similar role as prophet to witness to your love for this world. Help us all to remember that the future of the Church, the nation and of the world is in our hands. We ask this for your love’s sake. Amen
