Dear Lord,

This week we lift up in prayer Pap.  As a man of honor he served our country with other worthy men and women who gave their best when they were called upon to serve and protect their country. We pray that you will bless him, Lord, for his unselfish service in the continual struggle to preserve our freedoms, our safety, and our country’s heritage, for all of us. Bless him abundantly for the hardships he faced, for the sacrifices he made for their many different contributions to America’s victories over tyranny and oppression.  For all the veterans, men, and women serving our country we respect them, we thank them, we honor them, we are proud of them, and we pray that you will watch over these special people and bless them with peace and happiness.  In Jesus’ name we pray.

Loving God,

We lift up Fuzzy in prayer this week.  We thank you for the gift of her presence in our lives.  May you fill her with an abundance of your grace as she does her best to raise her children in a loving household.  We thank you for our own mothers that you have given us, whose love is so precious that it can never be measured, whose patience seems to have no end.  May we see your loving hand behind them and guiding them.  We pray for those mothers who fear they will run out of love or time, or patience.  We ask you to bless them with your own special love.  We ask this in Christ's name.

Loving God, we thank You for Emma to whom you've entrusted to our family.  We want to cooperate with You fully in helping her grow into a free and responsible young lady and mature in the faith she received at Baptism.  Be her constant companion.  Grant us the grace to be able to guide her in the practice of virtue and the way of Your commandments by the good example of our lives, and by the loving observance of Your law and that of Your Church.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.

O God, you have created us in love and saved us in mercy, and through the bond of marriage you have established the Reynolds family and willed that it should become a sign of Christ's love for his people. Loving lord, as we gather around our family table, we ask your special blessing on our mother Noreen. Her presence brings light and warmth to our lives and we thank you for giving her to us. We know her care for us has been constant. She has enlightened us at some of the most difficult times in our family life. Lord, now bless her with the same consolation that your Mother received during her life.  Amen.
