The Chase Family

Lord, we lift up to you the Chase family this week.  We thank you for their presence and the gift of their daughter Christine into our family.  O God of goodness and mercy, to Your fatherly guidance we commend our families, our household and all our belongings.We commit all to Your love and keeping; fill their house with Your blessings even as You filled the holy House of Nazareth with Your presence.  Amen. 

Chrissy Patterson Family

Lord, this week we lift up to you the Patterson family. Give them, O Lord, a steadfast heart, which no unworthy affection may drag downwards; give them an unconquered heart, which no tribulation can wear out; give them an upright heart, which no unworthy purpose may tempt aside.  Bestow upon them also, O Lord our God, understanding to know you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, and a faithfulness that may finally embrace you; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Luke

Lord, we lift up Luke to you as we thank you for the blessing he is to our family. Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as he is brought up in the faith, that we may teach him to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. As the Jewish Sabbath blessing goes, 'May God make you like Ephraim and Menashe'." (Genesis 48:20). Amen.

Alex

Heavenly Creator of the universe, we thank You for Alex to whom you've entrusted to our family.  We want to cooperate with You fully in helping her grow into a free and responsible young lady and mature in the faith she received at Baptism.  Grant us the grace to be able to guide her in the practice of virtue and the way of Your commandments by the good example of our lives, and by the loving observance of Your law and that of Your Church. Amen.

Anna

Lord, we thank you for the precious gift of Anna in our lives. We know that every good gift comes from You, and that You have given her to us to care for and raise. Help us to release her into Your protection, guidance, and counsel. For us not to live in fear of possible dangers, but in the joy and peace of knowing that You are in control. We rely on You for everything, and this day we trust and release Anna into Your hands. Amen.

Dan

O God, we know you care about each of your children. We praise your loving kindness, your merciful grace. This day we lift to you Dan.  As he does his best to serve his family with faithfulness and honor, hold him tightly.  Give him courage. Help him feel your love, and give him the graces he needs this day. Amen.

Peter and Christine Family

Lord we ask for a special blessing upon Peter and Christine's family.  You gave us our families as a tangible experience of the love that you share within the Holy Trinity.  In the primacy of our love for Jesus we receive the ability to love others in a sanctified way and, in turn, to generate the love of Christ, especially through the community of family.  We turn to you to teach us the sanctity of human love, to show us the value of family life, and to help us to live in peace with all men that we may share in your life for ever.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
