William

Lord, we lift up William to you as we thank you for the blessing he is to our family.  Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as he is brought up in the faith, that we may teach him to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ.  As the Jewish Sabbath blessing goes, 'May God make you like Ephraim and Menashe'." (Genesis 48:20).  Amen.

Laura

Lord, we thank you for the precious gift of Laura in our lives. We know that every good gift comes from You, and that You have given her to us to care for and raise. Help us to release her into Your protection, guidance, and counsel. To us not to live in fear of possible dangers, but in the joy and peace of knowing that You are in control. We rely on You for everything, and this day we trust and release Laura into Your hands. Amen.

Barry

Dear God, we lift up Barry to you. Show him your presence and let him feel you enveloping love.  Help our unbelief. When we're in pain, we forget that you care about us.  We forget that you have helped us through our trials.  We forget that you hold us in your arms to keep us safe.  We forget that you are feeling our pain with us.  We forget that you love us, and that we're important to you.  Heal our hurting souls.  Thank you for staying with us even in our unbelief.  Amen.

Jenna

Dear Lord,

We come to You in Jesus' name and give Jenna to You. We're convinced that You alone know what is best for her. You alone know what she needs. We release her to You to care for and protect her, and we commit ourselves to pray for her needs.  Teach us how to pray and guide us down the path toward Christian holiness.  May we model Your love for her as she grows.  Amen

John

All-powerful and ever-living God, when Abraham left his native land and departed from his people you kept him safe through all his journeys.  Protect John as he continues to serve overseas.  Be his constant companion and his strength in every moment of every day, his refuge in every adversity.  Guide him, O Lord, that he may balance the demands of work and family life, and draw him ever closer to you each day.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Mac

Loving God, you watch over each and every one of your children. Hear our prayer for Mac. Be his constant companion. Protect him no matter where he goes, and bring him safely and quickly home to those who love him. May we, your sons and daughters, be a witness to him in living out the faith that you've passed down through our parents and mentors, while guiding him to live a life for the love and well being of others. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Grandpa Reynolds

O God, who in your unspeakable providence chose blessed Joseph to be the spouse of your most holy Mother, grant, we beseech you that he may interceed for the prayerful intentions we offer for Grandpa Reynolds.  As he has worked tirelessly for our benefit though sacrifice and love to raise us in a loving household where our needs were met through the model of Saint Joseph,  may you bless him abundently with your grace.  Amen.
