Family Prayer catch up

I hope everyone was able to keep up with the family calendar to see who we were praying for the last couple of months.  Regardless I've got some catching up to do and some extra prayer for those listed below as we get back on track.

O dear Jesus, I humbly implore You to grant Your special graces to our family.  May our homes be the shrine of peace, purity, love, labor and faith. Come and fill our homes with your presence, You alone are worthy of our reverence.  Lord we vow to live holy, bowing our knees to You only.  These are our hopes and ideals.  Help us to attain them, O God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Barry

Dear God, we lift up Barry to you. Show him your presence and let him feel your enveloping love.  Help our unbelief. When we're in pain, we forget that you care about us.  We forget that you have helped us through our trials.  We forget that you hold us in your arms to keep us safe.  We forget that you are feeling our pain with us.  We forget that you love us, and that we're important to you.  Heal our hurting souls.  Thank you for staying with us even in our unbelief.  Amen.

Pam

Lord, we offer to you our prayers for Pam.  We thank you for the gift of her presence in our lives.  As a mother and grandmother, please give her the grace to care for those you've sent into her life, to help them develop the special gifts you've given them.  To model for them how to follow their own paths that you've called them to and to bring their loving wisdom to the world. Amen.

Ashley

Dear Lord, today we turn to you to give you thanks for Ashley. Please help her to remain a loving mother to her children and to keep balance in her life. Help her to remember that you are with her in every packed hour of every day. Give her the grace to maintain her loving life at home; and the deepest knowledge in her heart that you love her. Strengthen her when she is down and give her hope when she is discouraged. Amen.

Ryan

Dear Lord, we ask your blessing on Ryan this day. We thank you for the gifts he has brought to our family and for the love that he and Mary share. Continue to draw them closer together and closer to you, and give him the graces he needs each day. Amen.

Alex

Heavenly Creator of the universe, we thank You for Alex to whom you've entrusted to our family.  We want to cooperate with You fully in helping her grow into a free and responsible young lady and mature in the faith she received at Baptism.  Grant us the grace to be able to guide her in the practice of virtue and the way of Your commandments by the good example of our lives, and by the loving observance of Your law and that of Your Church. Amen.

Joanna

Lord, we thank you for the precious gift of Joanna in our lives. We know that every good gift comes from You, and that You have given her to us to care for and raise. Help us to release her into Your protection, guidance, and counsel. For us not to live in fear of possible dangers, but in the joy and peace of knowing that You are in control. We rely on You for everything, and this day we trust and release Joanna into Your hands. Amen.

Peter

Lord, we thank you for Peter and the many gifts and blessings he brings to our lives. You know that being a father is no meager task, but one that requires a multitude of gifts and blessings from your loving bounty.  Please bless Peter as he strives to be a strong and loving father; help him to be gentle and selfless in the care of his family and children through struggles and joy.  May we seek the intersession of your earthly father, Joseph, for Peter to be blessed with wisdom, patience, and understanding.  In your name we pray. Amen.

Grandpa

O God, who in your unspeakable providence chose blessed Joseph to be the spouse of your most holy Mother, grant, we beseech you that he may interceed for the prayerful intentions we offer for Grandpa Reynolds.  As he has worked tirelessly for our benefit though sacrifice and love to raise us in a loving household where our needs were met through the model of Saint Joseph,  may you bless him abundantly with your grace.  Amen.

Lucy

Lord, we thank you for the precious gift of Lucy in our lives. We know that every good gift comes from You, and that You have given her to us to care for and raise. Help us to release her into Your protection, guidance, and counsel. For us not to live in fear of possible dangers, but in the joy and peace of knowing that You are in control. We rely on You for everything, and this day we trust and release Lucy into Your hands. Amen.

Christine

Lord, we thank you for the presence of Christine in our lives and we lift her up with these intentions to you. May you fill her with an abundance of your grace as she does her best to raise her children in a loving household. We thank you for our own mothers that you have given us, whose love is so precious that it can never be measured, whose patience seems to have no end. May we see your loving hand behind them and guiding them. We pray for those mothers who fear they will run out of love or time, or patience. We ask you to bless them with your own special love. We ask this in Christ's name.

Blake

Lord Jesus,
You welcomed children into your loving arms like they were ambassadors to the kingdom.  Please bless Blake as we lift him up in prayer to you.  Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as he is brought up in the faith, that we may teach him to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Dan

O God, we know you care about each of your children. We praise your loving kindness, your merciful grace. This day we lift to you Dan.  As he does his best to serve his family with faithfulness and honor, hold him tightly.  Give him courage. Help him feel your love, and give him the graces he needs this day. Amen.

Extended Families

O God of goodness and mercy, to Your guidance we commend the Cormier, Hanusek, Carter, You, Armagost, Patterson, Gregory, Chase, Dalusung,  Importico, and Johnsson Families. We thank you for the addition of their sons and daughters to our lives, and we commit all to Your love and keeping; fill their homes with Your blessings even as You filled the holy House of Nazareth with Your presence.  Amen.

James

Loving God, you watch over each and every one of your children.  Hear our prayer for James.  Be his constant companion.  Protect him no matter where he goes, and bring him safely and quickly home to those who love him. May we, your sons and daughters, be a witness to him in living out the faith that you've passed down through our parents and mentors, while guiding him to live a life for the love and well being of others.  We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Loved Ones Who Have Died

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon them. May our loved ones, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

August

Lord, we thank you for the precious gift of August in our lives. We know that every good gift comes from You, and that You have given him to us to care for and raise. Help us to release him into Your protection, guidance, and counsel. For us not to live in fear of possible dangers, but in the joy and peace of knowing that You are in control. We rely on You for everything, and this day we trust and release August into Your hands. Amen.

Paul

Lord, we thank you for the love you have poured out upon our family and we thank you for the gift of Paul. Bless him as he lives out his vocation of loving husband and father. Give him the graces he needs this day, and every day, in the workplace and at home. Continue to draw him ever closer to yourself and keep him safe. May his life be a witness to your peace, love, and mercy. Lord, teach us all to be generous; to serve you as you deserve; to give and not to count the cost; to fight and not to heed the wounds; to toil and not to ask for rest; to labor and not to ask for reward, save that of knowing that we do your will. Amen.

Mason

Almighty God, heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the joy and care of Mason: Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as he is brought up in the faith, that we may teach him to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
